The solution combines Angular, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and AWS services to centralize content and platform management while maintaining structured access controls.

How We Made It Happen
The administration platform required a dashboard layered over the existing application. Patoliya structured the engineering foundation around clear separation between administration, application services, data, access control, and cloud infrastructure.
Administration Requirements and Content Model
Patoliya structured a dedicated administration layer for managing content, users, permissions, and platform operations. This separated administrative responsibilities from the learner experience and created a scalable foundation for ongoing platform management.
API and Application Services
Node.js and Express power the backend and API layer. Shared services allow web and mobile experiences to access common application functionality and platform data through a consistent backend foundation.
MongoDB Data Architecture
MongoDB with Mongoose provides the primary data layer for stories, quizzes, rewards, users, and related records. Centralizing database operations within the backend keeps data handling consistent across the platform.
Authentication and Access Control
AWS Cognito, JWT, Google authentication, token verification, roles, and permissions provide structured access management. This separates identity verification from application functionality and enables controlled access to platform capabilities.
Serverless AWS Deployment
Patoliya deployed the backend using Serverless Framework on AWS Lambda, with API Gateway exposing application APIs. Cognito, S3, and SES handle authentication, storage, and email as dedicated cloud services.
Angular Administration Experience
Angular and TypeScript power the administration interface, supported by Angular Material, Bootstrap, and ng Bootstrap. CKEditor, charting libraries, maps, Sentry, and internationalization extend its administrative capabilities.
Testing and Engineering Quality
Karma, Jasmine, Sentry, TSLint, Prettier, Husky, and lint-staged support testing, monitoring, and development quality. These tools help maintain application reliability as the platform evolves.
